Two practical tools for every stage of shoulder rehabilitation
Successful shoulder rehabilitation is not just about settling discomfort—it is about gradually restoring movement, strength and confidence.
The Shoulder Rehab & Recovery Bundle combines:
- Targeted hot or cold therapy to help manage pain, soreness and stiffness
- Progressive resistance for shoulder muscle activation and strengthening
- Convenient, reusable tools for completing your rehabilitation program at home
BodyICE: targeted hot and cold therapy
The flexible BodyICE gel pack contours around the shoulder and is secured using adjustable straps, allowing targeted therapy without needing to hold an ice pack in place.
Use it cold to help temporarily reduce pain and settle soreness following exercise or a symptom flare-up. Use it warm to provide comfort, reduce feelings of stiffness and help prepare the shoulder for movement or rehabilitation exercises.
Hot and cold therapy are best considered supportive tools for symptom management, rather than treatments that rebuild injured tissue on their own. Current evidence suggests cold therapy may provide small short-term improvements in pain and movement, while heat can assist with comfort, stiffness and readiness to move.
RockBand Flex: activation and progressive strengthening
The RockBand Flex provides adjustable resistance for exercises targeting the:
- Rotator cuff
- Shoulder blade stabilisers
- Upper-back musculature
- Muscles controlling reaching, lifting and overhead movement
Resistance bands make it easy to begin with low-load activation exercises and progressively increase resistance as strength and tolerance improve.
Exercise therapy and progressive loading are central components of evidence-based rehabilitation for rotator-cuff-related shoulder pain, with appropriately prescribed exercise helping improve pain, function and return to activity.
